PatPat-Chap93

It was a week later when they relocated to Yu Zhou’s home.

The atmosphere at Yu Zhou’s place was full of life and the little cow cat seemed happy. After adapting for a couple of days, she enjoyed frolicking on the ground.

While experiencing love and preparing for the audio drama “Pat Me Please”, by the time the scripts of the entire first season were written, Xiang Wan and Peng Xiangzhi had already ended their vacation and officially returned to work.

So, they made an appointment to meet at the SC Studio at noon.

Knowing she had to go to the studio today, Yu Zhou woke up early and retrieved the express delivery at the door. She then proceeded to cook breakfast, so that Su Chang could have a meal ready when she woke up.

This time, instead of using the toaster, Yu Zhou decided to dip the toast in egg sauce, fry it in a pan, and then retrieve the homemade cranberry sauce from the refrigerator. The cranberry sauce, made by Ms. Zhao, was less sweet compared to the store-bought variety, but Su Chang had always enjoyed it. Yu Zhou had taken it out earlier and let it cool down before breakfast.

She couldn’t help but feel like a canary, a housewife kind. Fortunately, her current royalty income was not bad, and she was becoming a little rich woman. Cooking as a little rich woman wasn’t just cooking; it was a kind of romance.

Hahaha, you had to have the money for that, though.

After preparing breakfast, Yu Zhou proceeded to freshen up and wash herself. Meanwhile, Su Chang also woke up and went to clean up. They both finished washing up and returned to the kitchen to wash their hands before eating.

Neither of them spoke much during the meal, eating toast and checking the messages accumulated overnight on their phones.

Not bad, a peaceful day.

After eating, Su Chang joined her in washing the dishes. They didn’t use many plates, so it only took them a few minutes. After washing their hands and drying them, Su Chang began to kiss her under the kitchen sunlight.

The kisses were soft and fluttering, like a young fish moving its lips, starting from Yu Zhou’s neck, to her shoulders, and then to her chest.

Unbuttoning more than half of her shirt, the skin revealed by Yu Zhou looked as if it had been dusted with pearl powder.

However, Su Chang paused and delicately played with the soft whiteness using her fingertips. She examined it closely.

“What’s wrong?” Yu Zhou asked.

“There’s a pimple here.”

On Yu Zhou’s chest, beside the peak, it was red.

“Ah? Perhaps I had too much internal heat,” Yu Zhou glanced down, “Why are you staring at it? Have you never seen a pimple before?”

“It looks a little good, because your chest is so white in itself,” Su Chang said, smiling at how the red dot appeared cute against her fair skin.

Yu Zhou laughed and straightened her clothes.

She then looked at Su Chang and said, “Seriously, can you change your work schedule? I know you’ve gotten used to staying up late before, but your workload is fine now, so you can adjust it. Look, I’ve only been staying up with you for a couple of days and I’ve already got pimples.”

Her voice was a bit hoarse and sounded softer than usual.

“Moreover, your health is really bad. When I lived with you again this time, I found it’s much worse than before. You’ve reached that age now, haven’t you? So, don’t pretend anymore.”

Su Chang glanced at her coldly upon hearing the final part of her remark.

“What kind of expression is that?” Yu Zhou looked at her and laughed. “Do you care about age too? Aren’t you ladies with great talents supposed to see maturity as a charm?”

She circled around Su Chang, observing her from different angles, laughing and swaying.

Su Chang chuckled softly and tapped her forehead with a gentle push.

“Oh, right.” Yu Zhou went to open the fridge and on the top shelf was the sour plum soup she prepared before the meal. It was stored in a cold water box and frozen in the refrigerator. She poured half a glass of the soup into a glass cup, positioning the straw towards Su Chang.

“Give it a taste. This one is sugar-free, refreshing, and not too sweet. It should taste good.” Yu Zhou looked at her expectantly.

Su Chang didn’t move, “I can’t drink cold stuff, my stomach doesn’t feel very comfortable.”

“This one isn’t very cold, I just froze it.”

Su Chang smiled and took a sip.

“How is it? Is the sweetness okay?”

The woman across from Su Chang lowered her head, softly pressed her lips against Su Chang’s, and gently pushed her tongue inside, tasting the soup.

Hm, it was cool and just right.

After the two of them left the kitchen, they cleaned up the room together. Su Chang squatted by the door and started unpacking the morning’s delivery that Yu Zhou had brought in. As Yu Zhou changed the trash bag, she told Su Chang, “You shouldn’t be too rushed when unpacking takeout packaging, the plastic bags were torn apart. This way, I can’t use them for garbage.”

“Okay.”

Su Chang was a little obedient, which Yu Zhou liked a little.

As usual, they got to the studio around noon. Su Chang registered Yu Zhou’s face, so she could now access the place freely without any visitor registration, and she had the highest clearance, heh heh.

Speechless, why add a “heh heh” there? It made Yu Zhou seem too easily content.

But she found that she was indeed easily content being with Su Chang.

While waiting for someone inside the lounge, the two casually chatted. Su Chang sat on a stool while Yu Zhou stood beside her. There was very little distance between them, so Su Chang could easily wrap her arm around Yu Zhou’s waist.

Yu Zhou bent one leg, her knee gently touching Su Chang’s stool as she combed Su Chang’s hair with her fingers. “Let me check if you have any white hairs.”

She noticed a white hair on her own head when looking in the mirror earlier, which scared her.

“There might be some. If there are, help me pull them out,” Su Chang embraced her.

Yu Zhou stopped her actions and spread her hands out towards Su Chang, “Give me one yuan.”

“Huh?”

“One yuan for one white hair, transfer the money first.”

Su Chang chuckled, lifted her hand and lightly hit Yu Zhou’s palm.

Yu Zhou pulled away from her: “Such a stingy girl, won’t even give me one yuan.”

Just as she pulled away, the elevator doors opened, and Peng Xiangzhi and Xiang Wan stepped out.

Perhaps because they had just returned from a vacation, Xiang Wan was dressed casually today. She wore a blue-green floral dress, and her hair was tied with a bohemian-style scarf in a side braid, giving her a stunning and refreshing appearance.

Yu Zhou smiled and greeted her: “Wanwan.”

Oh, she hadn’t seen Xiang Wan for quite some time and had missed her.

Xiang Wan and Peng Xiangzhi also exchanged greetings with Yu Zhou and Su Chang, and they took their seats opposite each other.

“Did you two run into each other downstairs?” Yu Zhou asked.

“No, I went to pick her up. We’re scheduled to record a Valentine’s Day special scene for that show we worked on last time. I figured we could record it today since we’re both here.” Peng Xiangzhi said.

“You picked her up? In a taxi?”

“No, I drove.”

“You can drive?” Yu Zhou was a bit surprised. Wasn’t Peng Xiangzhi always hitching a ride?

“Mm-hmm.” She just didn’t like driving much.

Seeing her like that, Yu Zhou felt a bit jealous: “When did you two become so close?” Even picking Xiang Wan up for work.

“Well,” Peng Xiangzhi glanced at Xiang Wan, “After living together for half a month, we’ve seen each other in all sorts of states – like me forgetting a towel after taking a shower, right?”

Xiang Wan smiled and shook her head.

“Ah…” So they were already at this stage? Yu Zhou’s expression was complicated.

“What, you jealous?” Peng Xiangzhi teased her.

“Yes, I do feel a bit of jealousy as a friend.” Yu Zhou slumped in her chair, filled with melancholy. She and Xiang Wan were not the closest.

Xiang Wan’s eyes flickered, and with a smile, she gestured to the gift boxes on the table: “Aren’t you going to open them?”

Not interested, Yu Zhou reluctantly picked up the gift and opened it. Inside was a delicate bracelet. Su Chang, on the other hand, raised her hand, picked up the box in front of her, and opened it, raising her eyebrows.

Yu Zhou leaned over to see that her and Su Chang’s bracelets were a matching set.

Her face gradually turned red before glancing at Xiang Wan. Xiang Wan tilted her head and smiled with her bright eyes and white teeth.

Yu Zhou felt a deep sense of warmth mixed with a touch of sourness in her heart. Xiang Wan knew it and had given her a subtle, unobtrusive blessing.

In a way that wouldn’t make anyone feel uncomfortable.

Yu Zhou put away the bracelet, her voice as soft as a mosquito: “Thank you, Wanwan.”

Su Chang also said: “Thank you, I really like it.”

Wow, it was rare for Su Chang to say “I really like it.” Yu Zhou took another look at her, even though her expression was still quite cold.

Peng Xiangzhi laughed: “What’s the use of just saying you like it? Can you give her a raise?”

“Huh?” Seeing that Su Chang was unmoved, she threw the question to Yu Zhou.

Yu Zhou was embarrassed and changed the subject: “How was your trip? Did you two have fun?”

Peng Xiangzhi cheered up immediately, pointing at Xiang Wan and said: “She was quite entertaining, let me tell you.”

“This girl is a clean freak but also lazy, refusing to get up early to climb mountains. So I went alone and forgot to apply sunscreen. When I came back in the afternoon, I was four or five shades darker. She opened the door and gave me one look, then closed it, saying I had gone to the wrong place.”

Yu Zhou laughed out loud: “Really?”

“I had just taken a nap then and was still a little drowsy. I saw a very dark-skinned girl knocking at the door, with sweat on her head and half of her tied-up hair loose, looking quite disheveled. Moreover, you didn’t wear makeup that day.” Xiang Wan recalled slowly and calmly.

“What do you mean by that? What do you mean by your last sentence?” Peng Xiangzhi’s temper flared up.

Xiang Wan was not kind to her, so she didn’t want to be kind either, she continued to expose.

“We went to Jinyang Lake to ride bikes together, but she couldn’t ride it. She was so scared that her face turned pale, asking how a bike could only have two wheels. I asked if she had ever seen bicycles or motorcycles, she said yes, but she always thought they were dangerous and would never try riding them herself.”

“In the end, I found a tricycle and took her around the lake. She sat at the back and I felt like a driver.” Speechless.

Yu Zhou couldn’t stop laughing, even Su Chang’s mouth curved into a smile.

“But the real fun happened at night. We went to a bar and met a T[1], you know- the kind of T who was strong enough to carry a fire extinguisher to put out a fire,” Peng Xiangzhi laughed so hard that she almost couldn’t continue.

“That T was showing off in front of her, asking her to drink, so she was obviously trying to flirt with Wanwan. After a while, the kid started introducing herself and said she was a T. Then Wanwan asked what T meant.”

“The kid said it meant liking girls, and Wanwan replied with ‘lesbian, I know it’. The kid was thrilled to find someone on the same wavelength, so she asked her if she was T or P. After explaining the positions of top and bottom, she thought for a moment and told the kid that she was a T.”

“The kid was petrified on the spot, really petrified! You should have seen the look on her face; it was so funny!” Peng Xiangzhi laughed until her eyes welled up with tears. “She kept muttering, ‘How could you be a T? How could you be a T?'”

“Her faith in life was shattered on the spot. She didn’t even drink anymore, just left with her friends.”

“A position collision[2], it’s my first time experiencing such a position collision scene.”

Xiang Wan didn’t react much after listening to her, and didn’t feel that she had done anything wrong.

“You guys are so funny,” Yu Zhou said enviously, “Let’s go together next time.”

After the epidemic, they really hadn’t gone out to travel much.

“Sure, oh, speaking of which,” Peng Xiangzhi recalled, “aren’t we going to Huizhou to attend the comic exhibition two weeks from now? Just the audio drama I just told you about, where we need to record a bonus scene, invited us to attend it offline. If both of you are free, come join us.”

Yu Zhou glanced at Su Chang, who nodded her head.

Nice!

  1. There isn’t a definitive explanation for how to precisely define T here, but it can generally be understood as either top in lesbian relationship or tomboy. [return to text]
  2. It means when two people want to date but they are in the same position on bed, like both are top or both are bottom. [return to text]
